I think that is the nature of the yarn. Would you wear it, I guess, would be my question? I would.

I think you should keep going - it's handmade and as such has certain quirks that give the gift it's own unique personality.

I like the sock. Of course, I'm from the North Coast and we are into tye dye-esque stuff.

Not that I personally own any tye dye, but I think it looks cool.

You can always rip out and cast on with fewer or more stitches, but who knows what that will bring. It could also be that the stitch pattern you have choosen is eating up the yarn, or not, at a rate that will produce this effect. I say, doens't bother me, but who knows about the sock pal.

Thats a tough one. The sock could pool no matter what design you choose. I personally like the pink section.
